Created alongside Annick Ménardo, Noir d'Encre captures a subtle balance between the unfathomable attraction of darkness and the luminous vibrations hidden in the textures of a canvas. Noziglia is the name of the "cara nonna," the Italian grandmother of painter Noémie Rocher. The brand was born from the fusion of two worlds: painting and perfumery.
To create the Noziglia perfume house, Noémie teamed up with three perfumery nose artists: Françoise Caron, Francis Kurdidjan, and Annick Ménardo. The goal of the collaboration was to capture, transcribe, and then distill the vibration of painting, to give it an olfactory form, and to enclose a small, immaterial work within a bottle.
Three perfumes will thus see the light of day and weave a narrative web.
